Supreme Slip

I was happily sewing along, quilting a sweet toddler quilt when my machine started to act funny.  I stopped for a few seconds to see if I could find a problem.  No problem, so I sewed another few inches.

Humm.  What a pain.  We were moving along so nicely...

...until I machine quilted my Supreme Slider to the back of my quilt.   Good grief.

Am I the only quilter who has ever done this?

Mine slipped once and I put one needle hole in it but did catch it in time. So sorry about your Slider.

I tore a hole in mine by putting a few stitches in it. I haven't tried to use it since.

I tape down the four corners with blue painters tape to keep it from slipping!!

I'll try the tape. Glad to see I'm not the only one... of course I'm the only one to sew along happily unaware. :)
