Color, Color Everywhere!

This week I'm feeling so much better than I thought I would after toe surgery, so I've been doing some simple tasks with lots of splash for the upcoming quilt show. Our vendor booth should be full of color!

Bill did some prep for me and then I put together these wool pincushions and felted them.

I've been using up the wool quickly, so it was time to dye more wool roving for the pincushions...


When dyeing in a big pot, it's easy to throw in odds and ends too, so the roving and some yarn went in...


...as did a damaged cashmere sweater that will be up-cycled into...I don't know what, but something lovely!
